T BAR M RANCH

We get asked a lot, which ones are your horses, so we decided to put back up our family horse page.  We have added to and changed horses several times in the last three years, but think the gang of horses we have now are all pretty special.

We have Becca, she is a ten year old dappled buckskin, that my grand daughter patterned to do barrels and poles and is the most incredible little mare we have ever owned.  She 100% takes care of Kaytlynn.  We get asked all the time if she is for sale and she never will be.  She was a lucky find that was sitting out in a pasture by herself and hadn't been rode in forever.  Kaytlynn keeps her hair about rode off, but has done and incredible job on the barrels with her.

Lacey Blue is a coming 4 year old mare that we had up for sale forever, and couldn't believe no one bought her.  She has the mind of 10 year old and is as gentle as the day is long.  She was worked in a feed lot most of her young life and came to us already knowing how to rope.  Kaytlynn will be using her this year to breakaway rope and goat tie on.  She has just started putting her on the barrels and poles, so Miss Lacey Blue will be an all around horse and no longer for sale.

Penny is a 12 year sorrel mare that we bought at a sale that turned out to be automatic on barrels and all other events, we had originally thought she would make a great step up horse for a child, but found out after taking her to a play day that once in an arena, she could be a 1-D barrel horse and you'd better have your butt in the saddle if you were going to be able hang with her.  She is currently being leased for the season by Kristy Gandy, who is getting her in shape to haul for this coming season, they have clicked really well and we hope she has a great season on her.

Journey which is my mare and trust me she is all mare! She is 5 years old, and she does it all, but I use her for trails, because she spooks at nothing and her am I do barrels.  I am a beginner at barrel racing and we don't run fast, but I hope to, and as I learn maybe Journey and I can do well together.

Savanna:  She is my first horse, but adores my husband and will do just about anything to get to him, she is like a big gentle puppy dog, just a whole lot bigger.  She is a registered black and white paint and about 15.3 hands.  We use her just for trail riding, as she'd just prefer not to lope, but when she does it's real smooth.  We let beginners out here ride her on the trails with us.  She is seven years old.

Patience:  She is a 4 year old Haflinger mare, that we bought for the grand kids to ride, she is just about as sweet as they come and loves kids and attention.  She is going to do lead line this season and she is learning to neck rein and getting used to being out on the trails.

Ringo he is our 40 plus year old pony, who believes that he is human and is basically just a big nusiance, but we love him!  He still trail rides and loves kids.  He gets into everything and anything and still thinks he's a ladies man............parcial to red heads LOL  He will be here forever.

Bullet, bless his heart he was the only family horse that wasn't a mare until we had Rowdy gelded.  Bullet is now 10 years old, we have owned him for two years, he had feet issues when we bought him and thanks to a great black smith, he is nearly sound on his feet.  I will be learning to rope off of him this year.  I'm not thinking roping will be my thing, but hubby wants me to try............so try I will.

Rowdy is a 4 year old that we used as a stud, his registered name is Playboy Doc Badger, and he is gorgeous and will be going to be broke in the near future.  He is very good natured and well mannered and super fast!  He will be great at whatever he does.

We have a new mare named Annie, we do have her up for sale, but are considering keeping her.  She is well broke and super nice, patterned for barrels and poles, registered, stand up on her and slide down her butt, she handles just about anything and has an awesome handle.  If you can believe it, she was broke by a 12 year old girl.  The mare is awesome!  Not sure what we are going to do with her, as you can tell we have plenty of our own :)

PICTURES OF THEM ALL WILL BE UP SOON :)
