T BAR M RANCH

Houston:  8 year old TB Gelding, handles well, rides well, not much bothers him, good with his feet (wearing shoes).  Great for trail riding, cause he has no spook.

I considered listing him under horses with issues, but can't bring myself to do it. That being said, I went to look in his mouth and he has an old injury (healed), but is missing some teeth and so, we will sell him for what we have in him, which is 875.00, he eats fine, doesn't bother him, not head shy and he is really a nice calm laid back gelding.

Making his new home in Oklahoma with Secret.

Registered palomino paint mare, is green broke, but we have not rode her.  She has great ground manners, stands tied quietly, doesn't mind being sprayed down, all we have done ourselves is saddle her and she seemed pretty fresh about being saddled, didn't get crazy, but made her nervous.  We will be using her as a broodmare if she doesn't sale.

2/15/08  We saddled up Secret today, and although she handled it well, she knows NOTHING.  Rode, but without a clue, probably do well for lead line or just a Registered Broodmare.  Can include breeding to our Stud.

WILL TRADE FOR OLDER RIDING HORSE OR HAY.

NOW BRED BACK TO PLAYBOY DOC BADGER FOR 2010 FOAL

Note:  I am not selling Secret as a riding horse, even though we have pictures of her riding, they are to show she has potential.  She has been running in the pasture with our Stud and so it's been a while since she has been rode, selling as a broodmare, with potential to be a riding horse with time.

Jazz:  He is three years old and we have owned him for a year.  I turned him out to pasture last year to gain some size, he was already broke to ride at the time.  We brought him up last week, saddled him up without issue and rode off just great.  He is a very quite and laid back gelding, he did not buck or crow hop, lost some of the neck reining and backing up, so we are working on that.  He will make an awesome kids playday horse.  Bare in mind, I do not sale "kid horses", he is just very quite and easy to work with and has a good mind and I think would work for younger folks.  He is very personable, in your pocket kinda horse that loves attention and people.  He is very easy to catch and loves the other horses, although they get really annoyed with him. We originally called him Luke, but my grand daughter has renamed him Jazz, cause she thought in pink he looked like "all that Jazz".  Right now he is 1250.00, but as we add the miles and training on this palomino his price will rise.  He stands 14 hands.

Romeo is a 12 year old TB, he rides very good, neck reins, backs and has a very sweet personality.  He does ride with a tie down, but we rode him without one and you can tell he's holding his head up.  I will get some pictures today of him with a tie down.  Easy to catch, respects your space, stands tied quitely.  Gets a long well with the other horses, stood still for mount and dismount.  Currently wearing shoes, but they are fixing to come off.  875.00

Romeo

Buckshot 3 year old buckskin minature pony.  He is the friendliest little, easy to catch and halter, doesn't kick and loves kids, grandkids drag him around like a dog.  We originally bought him as a companion for our 30 plus year old pony, but they didn't bond the way we thought, and since my grandsons have moved, we have decided he needs some kids to keep him happy and entertained.  He does saddle up good, moves around a little, loves to be brushed and pampered, it's hard to believe he is only three.  7 year old grand daughter has rode him bare back, but thinks he's to little to ride and keep him rode.  When we bought him he was being used as a lead line pony.

550.00 healthy and sound and absolutely a bundle of love.

Bullseye:  7 year old paint gelding with one blue eye.  When I bought him he had been a pasture for almost 2 years and had not been rode, he was definitely herd bound.  I sold him once with the understanding that he still needed miles on him, and then bought him back, when they were unable to put the miles on him.  We have now been riding him consistently and he does awesome on the trail.  3/19/09 we took him moonlight trail riding in the dark and through the brush and he just did awesome with booger in him at all.  He is riding well, neck reins, backs (collects up nice), think  he needs a confident rider, at least for a while longer, but we no longer have the herd issues.  He really is a well built horse, we did run him around the barrels, but by no means is he a patterend horse and as far as I know the only exposure he has had to them is here.  1500.00

Bullseye: 3/25/09 is turning out to be about as incredible as we knew he would be with a few miles on him.  Untied and without anyone holding him, you slide off of his backside, sit on his butt and drop the saddle off, stand up on top of him, jump on and off both sides and he never moves.  He's doing trails great!  Video will posted later today.

Tess:  Aprox 12 year old Buckskin mare, so very easy to handle.  Neck reins, easy to catch, stands good for farrier, no buck, can ride her double, or bareback.

She would be great for an older person to trail ride on, or younger kid.

Windy is a 12 to 14 year old white quarter horse mare.
Rides in a hackamore, walk, trot, did lope, but had a hard time keeping her into a lope, what we were able to do was smooth.  Would probably be a good trail horse, doesn't appear to spook at anything, dogs didn't bother her, picks up all four.  Her price is low because she has a growth on left back leg, prior owner's vet didn't see any reason to remove it and said it was fine.  I have not had it vet checked, nor am I going to.  She has no give to it and it doesn't seem to bother her.  She came from a private seller not a sale barn.  We were told hadn't been rode all winter, but did well, direct reins, not much on backing up, but took a couple of steps with encouragement.  All in all pretty easy to handle.  Hard to catch in the big pasture, easy in the small pasture.

Windy:  is coming along nicely, and we will be taking her trail riding tomorrow and see how she does.  Turns out what I thought was growth is old scar tissue, regardless, I'll guarantee her sound.  450.00  SOLD-THANK YOU THE FRAMPTON'S OF ABILENE, TX.

Windy

Martha: 12 year old Molly Mule and very sweet, as with most mules, she is hard to catch.  When we bought her she had just came off of a 20 mile trail ride and I didn't see that she was gaulded from where they had the cinch so tight.  We have let it heal and have just started saddling her up and working her in the round pen.  3/12-hope to get pictures of her riding over spring break.  I am a little behind and everytime we are out there I have forgotten to bring the camera.  She rides good, good feet, picks all of them up easily, not mean, lunges (not wonderful), but not to bad either.  I like her a lot.  975.00 until the miles get on her, because trail season is coming up!

3/18/09  We finally rode Martha today, and she did fine even after being out in the pasture for a couple of months, she direct reins, picks up all four, stands for mount and dismount, the more she rode the better she got.  We will try and get her on the trails soon, no promises have so many to ride.

*SALE PENDING*.. NEW MEXICO BOUND!..............Final decision will be made on March 27th.  I appreciate all the response on trading for Badger, but I have promised to hold him for someone who lives out of state.  So check back at the end of the month, in case something changes.

I have to get this horse sold or traded off, as my husband isn't riding and I can't ride him, he is to fast for me.  He has to be consistently rode, or he will buck if he sits for a length of time.

Will trade out for livestock trailer, cattle, arena panels, hay, travel trailer, farm equipment.  2 good riding horses (broke and quite) for resale.  Let me know what you got.

Check out his blood lines, cutting, reining, just cow bred all the way.  This gelding is flashy, well started, started on neck reining, backs, and incredible stop he will get down on his back side.  You are not going to find a better horse this well started with his looks and pedigree.

We call him Badger.  His 14.1 hands and probably will grow a little more, he is the perfect size for cutting.  This boy will get down on his hiney!

Video to come!

BADGER HAS GONE TO THE TRAINERS, WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW HE TURNS OUT, HE WAS ALREADY GOOD, BUT HE'LL MOVE TO THE AWESOME CATAGORY SOON!

BACK FROM THE TRAINERS, PICTURE AND VIDEOS'S TO COME......................

We will make some deals on Badger, or would like to find someone to day work on him, as he is to fast and quick for me to keep rode, other than the round pen, and my husband is currently unable to ride.  This gelding needs a job, can work a deal with someone to keep him rode until he sells.

Mystery

Mystery:  Black/white paint gelding, aprox 10 years old.  He came off a ranch and he rides extremely well, but he does have some issues.  Trust I believe.  We have trail rode on him and he doesn't spook, but he is always looking down at your feet, as though your going to gouge him, wonderful walk and trot, he does kick out when you pick him up into a lope and so far have not been able to fix that.  We can pick up all of his feet, brush him, saddle, stands tied quite.  He has an incredible stop on him, collects his head up very nicely, neck reins and backs.  At some point this gelding has had a lot of training and each time rode he has gotten better and better and he is being handled daily, but we don't have the time to devote to him, as we have plenty to ride.  We are going to take somewhat of a loss on him due to feed and farrier, but will take what we paid for him 875.00, if not sold soon, we will take him to auction, his color and riding ability in the ring will get our money back, but would really like to see him go to a good home that has the time to spend with him to regain his trust, he has not bucked, but does kick out when you first get him into a canter.  He has been run around the barrel and handled it very well, as well as the poles.  875.00 firm.  MYSTERY HAS FOUND A HOME WITH A WONDERFUL LADY IN SAN ANTONIO-WHERE HIS ISSUES WILL BE WORKED WITH AND HE CAN STAY FOREVER.  SHE HAS PROMISED UPDATES ON HIS PROGRESS!!

Shady Lady

Shady Lady:  5 year old paint mare, heavy bred, due around March 20th.  Beautiful mare, looks roan and white, wonderful mane.  She does ride, but we have not rode her to her being ready to foal.  We have owned her a week.  She is not registered, so the baby will be grade.  525.00 or best offer, until the foal is on the ground.

Sissy: 3 year old Registered paint mare, about 14 hands (small), she has no ground manners, pretty easy to catch and will stand tied and saddles up well, doesn't know anything about round pen work, she is a very personable mare, but hasn't learned to not get in your space.  Pictures of her right out of the pasture covered in mud.  Very pretty when all cleaned up with unusual markings and one blue eye.  The lady that I got her from, had videos of her being rode, but she's to fresh for me to get on her, she didn't not buck under saddle when being lunged in the round pen (quite a process since she didn't seem to understand), no saddling issues, picks up all four feet.  Not a sale barn horse, did not come with a coggins.

She is registered and would probably make a nice broodmare or young enough to finish her as a riding horse.

I will trade on her, for a barrel, roping saddle or Hay.  You can make me a cash offer also.

Digger: is 3 coming 4 year old grade gelding, bay and white paint about 15 hands.  Wow, does he handle like an older horse, neck reins, collects his head when backs, direct reins, changes gaits easily, hasn't spooked at anything around the house, but have not had him out on the trail, yet.  He is very responsive, easy to tack up, lunges both ways easily, stands still for mount and dismount and picks up all four feet.  A confident adult should have no problem riding him and an experience child should have a ball on him.  He would be a perfect playday, barrel or roping prospect.  He was an 4-H horse and you can tell the number of hours that has been put into this gelding.  100% sound and healthy and ready to go!

2/19/09  Update:  We took Digger trail riding today and he rode like a 10 year old horse, no spook at anything, went through the brush, in the tank, over logs, mesquites up under him and never a care, cows came running out he looked and went on, never rushed to come back home, no issue leaving the house.  This is a good minded sensible gelding.

After wards we took him around the house and barn ponying a a pony :) and didn't bother him at all.

Rides great!  Good handle and good minded......nice young horse, that has had a ton of ground work, lunges like a pro, good stop.....................he does pin his ears and we have decided it must be his characteer, cause he never acts up!

3/1/09 Digger and continued to become the best young horse with a sensible mind that we have seen in a long time, we gave riding lessons on him over the weekend and then took beginners trail riding on him and once again he did awesome.  1600.00 firm.

Sold-thank you, Carmen-Seminole, Tx

Cinnamon:  She is an aprox 12 year old Gaited mare, we have also owned her for awhile, when we bought her last spring, she had the worst case of thrush that I have scene and it took us several months to get here completely over it.  She was then just left out to pasture.  She was brought up last week and rode and also did wonderful, no buck or crow hoping, although fresh from not being ridden.  She is gaited and moves very quickly, she neck reins, backs and handles well.  She will continue to be worked with until sold, although very broke now.  I am starting her price at 975.00, but as with all things the more she gets rode and the dust knocked off, that price will continue to go up
